Cancer Treatment Support
A cancer diagnosis brings major changes to both the physical and psychological facets of a patient’s life and to the lives of and relationships with their loved ones.
Dr. Dyan has supported many individuals with cancer through her psychological counseling, her skills as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner® (SEP), and by using other tools including various coping strategies and creating empowering self-hypnosis for cancer recordings. Those facilitative, hypnosis and self-hypnosis for healing cancer strategies work as an additional support modality during physician assisted cancer treatment, pre and post operatively, and to enhance treatment strategies like immunotherapies, chemotherapy, radiation, and to lessen unwanted side effects.
In addition to becoming a licensed psychologist, Dr. Dyan worked for 20 years in the office of prominent Internist, Allergist and Immunologist. Her time in that practice allowed her to gain a deep appreciation for some of the ways that the power of the mind can enhance the body’s healing.
Dr. Dyan has incorporated that psychophysiological awareness into her patient work and, alongside the significant research on hypnosis for cancer treatment and hypnosis for cancer pain relief, she has been able to use hypnosis as an adjunctive mind-body tool to facilitate comfort, empowerment, and to help lessen side effects and promote optimal healing.
Dr. Dyan has found that when medical treatments are used alongside psychotherapeutic approaches, hypnotherapy to enhance cancer treatment, the best self-help hypnosis for pain relief and emotional support, or regular use of the best self-hypnosis for immune symptom support (designed for each individual), improved outcomes are often reported in terms of comfort, calm, empowerment, response, lessening of side effects, and quality of life.
