NMO Self-Hypnosis

Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO), also known as Devic’s disease or Devic’s syndrome, is a rare disease of the central nervous system. Neuromyelitis Optica symptoms, and the NMO spectrum disorder, affect the spinal cord, myelin sheaths, and optic nerves.

Within the context of autoimmune disease spectrum of disorders, NMO is most commonly compared to multiple sclerosis, however the two differ in their course, neurological findings, certain symptoms, and autoimmune disease treatment.

In 2012, Dr. Dyan became acquainted with Victoria Jackson, one of the founders of the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation, which has been a key organization in the research of NMO, helping to find NMO treatments, and in bringing awareness of the condition to the public.

Tapping into her training as a health psychologist and hypnotherapist, in 2012 and 2018 Dr. Dyan conducted patient hypnosis breakout sessions at the NMO annual conferences.

As an alternative healing strategy in Neuromyelitis Optica treatment, patients were able to learn self-hypnosis techniques for self-care and relaxation, as well as self-hypnosis for pain relief, calming anxious thoughts, and to help alleviate other mind-body symptoms.

When creating the self-hypnosis audios for her other Self-Hypnosis for Healing Package sets. Dr. Dyan produced the Self-Hypnosis for NMO to Support Health & Vitality Package. That free set comes with a self-hypnosis mp3, a How-To Use Your Self-Hypnosis Video, and a full-color How-To Use Your Self-Hypnosis eBook.

This NMO self-help package has been specially designed to support you in learning how to use the valuable, natural tool of self-hypnosis to help with relaxation in the healing of psychophysiological issues commonly associated with NMO.

NMO symptoms include visual issues, pain related to sensory, motor, spine, myelin sheath, tissues, nerves and nerve signaling, bladder and bowel function, digestion and metabolism, sleep, immune issues, mood such as anxiety or depression, and more.
